Sixers won the toss and elected to bat first. The opening pair started cautiously withKamalpreet Kalsi playing some delightful shots. Bowling first change, Bhumik Patel ripped through the top order, taking 3 wickets in an over and was well assisted by Sagar Agarwal who took the all important wicket of Kamalpreet Kalsi. The Sixers were on the back-foot until Tarun Sandhu counter attacked in the middle overs. Tarun scored 31 (22 balls) before he was bowled by an in-swinging yorker of Gaurav Mathur. Kartik Swaminathan (3/14) and Bhumik (5/16) wrapped up the tail and Sixers were all out for 102.
Chasing 103, Tigers got to a flying start with Abhijat Ranade and Gaurav Nilakantan smashing the ball all over the park. Tigers maintained a healthy run rate throughout the innings with Gaurav N. scoring 72 not out including 7 sixes and 5 fours. Tigers chased down the target in the 12th over with 7 wickets in hand.
Bhumik Patel was declared Man of the Match for his five-wicket haul.
