Lions won the toss and decided to bowl first.The Cardinal Knights playing their first game of the season scored 140/9 in 15 overs thanks to Kaushal Joshi's 31(17). Rookie Anant Gupta and the experienced Chirag Shah gave Lions a good start with the ball and made scoring difficult in the initial overs.Tejas Bhedi bowled well in the middle overs and ended by with match figures of 2/29.
Chasing the target, Sohil Suchde and Tejas Bhedi gave LL an aggresive start with an opening stand of 54 inside 4 overs. The two looked at ease before Bharath Vignesh took an excellent catch in the deep to get rid of Tejas who scored a 14 ball 26. Sohil continued playing his shots and scored 40(30). LL chased down the score in 12 overs thanks to an unbeaten stand of 50 runs between Virdepak Ananthasubramanian 10(8)* and Saptesh Sawant 28(15)*. Ankit was the pick of the bowlers for CK with figures of 2/10.
Tejas Bhedi for picking up 2 wickets and scoring 26 runs was declared the man of the match.
