Marshall Sixers vs Leavy Lions match report

Electing to bat after winning the toss, LL got of to a steady start with openers VirDeepak and skipper Anant Gupta scoring 35 off the first four overs of powerplay. Harshall Bhangale on debut for MS got rid of Anant which brought Preetam to the crease. Vir and Preetam looked steady and scored 26 and 30 runs respectively but some tight bowling by MS never really let them get away. Vir was out caught behind to Kartik and Preetam was run out shortly thereafter bringing Denver and Swapneel to the crease. But tight bowling by MS kept LL to 106 in their 15 overs.
MS batsmen looked in complete control from ball one and with Sairaj and Sunil scoring 30 runs a piece at a good rate. With the assistance of some wayward bowling by LL bowlers MS reached their target comfortably with 3.5 overs to spare.
Shreyas Bhargav was named Man of the Match for his brilliant spell of 3 overs at a crucial point in the innings giving away just 11 runs for 1 wicket and effecting a runout.
