Viterbi Vultures regained their momentum after winning their second match against Leavey Lions by 24 runs.

Viterbi Vultures won the toss and elected to bat first. Ankit and Maunil Chokshi opened the innings by pacing the match but Ankit fell prey to Swapneel’s ball. But such early loss of wicket was covered up really fast by Aditya Shah’s amazing batting with a score of 58 runs in 30 balls with 4 sixes. Leavey Lion’s bowlers got the match back in their hands by seeking three wickets back to back. Gaurav and Sneh got Viterbi Vultures on track by hitting quick boundaries and closed the game with offering a target of 165 to Leavey Lions.

Chasing a target of 165, Leavey Lions got off to a good start by Krupa Patel and Beena scoring 28 runs in 8 balls. Veer paced the match by holding on to the pitch carefully by keeping the score running. Veer and Preetam had a good partnership but a dramatic change of sequence came in where in Sanjay took Preetam’s wicket. Another shock was encountered by Leavey Lions, when Veer got run out by Gaurav Mutha in the final overs. Tight overs bowled by Sneh, Nishant and Faraaz restricted Leavey Lions to score much and ended the match with the score of 140 runs in 15 overs.   

For his fantastic innings, Aditya Shah was declared man of the match.
