Cs skipper Prateek Rohela won the toss and elected to bat first. It was homecoming for Sahil Shakir as he was the guest player for both the sides. He went to open with Rohit Kumar.
Sahil played his shots and scored a quickfire 20 . Law of averages finally caught up with rohit and he got out early. Adyant went it nect to support sahil .
After sahil got out , prateek walked in to the crease. After a string of low scores in the last 2-3 matches , Marshal sixers were confident of getting him cheaply. Prateek scored a quick -fire 40 and when he got out the score was 97/3 . Mukul Sagar was also looking good but hit one directly to sahil and it was left for cs rookies to carry forward the innings.
Marshal sixers were disciplined and restricted cs to 103. Pooja Sinha played a cruical hand and took the score to 113.
Fawad Ahmad and Muthu Rg were the pick of the bowlers from ms.
Chasing 114 Avwab Khan started the innings in a blazing fashion scoring 18 runs in first over to @abhishekprakash . Avwab was looking dangerous as he was hitting the ball all around the park . Prateek got rid of avwab and fawad in the same over and the match was evenly balanced when muthu came in o bat.
Mukul bowled a good spell and got muthu out . Taheer munir tried to stabilise the innings but the pressure of scoring quickly got to him and he missed a straight ball from
Pavas.
At the end cs won the match by 25 runs .
