KKR got off to a fast start with openers putting up 60 runs in first 4 overs. Punjab introduced Kaushal into the attack which put brakes on KKR scoring and some fine belowing by Punjab and bad running between the wickets resulted in KKR loosing quick wickets. Aditya batted well to hit some good shots and take KKR to 118. From 80 for 1 in 8 overs, KKR folded for 118 all out.
Punjab Openers came out all guns blazing and took the attack to KKR bowlers. Gaganjot in particular was in attacking mood and within no time took the game away from KKR. Punjab scored 50 off first 4 overs and were 95 for 0 in 9 overs and in the end very easily managed to beat KKR team. Gaganjot was man of the match for his superb batting display. (79 of 47 balls).
