A brave knock by Ankith Harsora of 31 off 29 balls helped Mumbai crawl to 72 runs at the end of their innings.
Batting next, both the Gauravs - Nilakantan and Mathur opened CSK's batting. CSK captain Gaurav Nilakantan got them off to a very quick start, blasting 3 sixes in succession off the very first over by Ashish Gholap. He was declared Man of the Match for his hard hitting not-out innings of 40 runs off 19 balls, comprised entirely of boundaries. He was aided at the other end by another special knock of 26 runs by Gaurav Mathur, also not-out.
