Batting first CC scored 160/6 in 15 overs with contributions from Rana Aijaz (56 of 33), Parmeet Singh (37 of 20) and Ankit Nagarle (16 of 14). From VV Shahank Harinath, Arjun Sonkia , Rohan Basu and Goutham Gowrishank picked one wicket each.
Chasing 161 to win VV were restricted to 137/8 because of some excellent bowling by CC bowlers. Goutham Vijayakumar was the pick of CC bowlers and ended with figures of 3 for 21 while Sneh Kishan and Siddarth Thakur got two wickets each. From VV Paritosh Saurav scored aggressive 48 of 33 and was well supported by Vidyadhara Kachur (19 of 16) but fell well short of 160 set by CC batsmen.
CC will play their next game against Trojan Tigers on April 10th!
