TT won the toss and elected to field. A tight opening spell by Gaurav Mathur restricted the score to 29/0 after 4 overs. Knights lost their openers in consecutive overs while trying to accelerate the scoring. A quick 50-run partnership between Vinith Reddy (26 from 12) and Ankit Harsora (33 from 15) put the Knights back in the game. After these two batsmen were dismissed, CK kept losing wickets regularly and were dismissed for 133 in 14.1 overs. Gaurav Mathur (3 for 7) was the most effective bowler for TT.
After losing a wicket off the very first ball of their innings, the Tigers batsmen played cautiously and the score read 28/1 after 4 overs. Bhumik Patel (26 from 29) and Rohan Kale (23 from 29) steadied the innings and built a solid 70-run partnership in 9 overs. Overs 10-12 proved to be the turning point of the game as TT lost Bhumik, Gaurav, and Rohan in successive overs. A tight bowling spell by Prem Anand (3 for 19) & Kapil Manek (1 for 14) in the middle of the innings proved crucial as it put the batsmen under pressure and the innings was wrapped up by Ankit Harsora (4 for 26) & Kaushal Joshi (1 for 23). TT were dismissed for 112 runs and CK won the game by 21 runs.
