TROJAN CRICKET CLUB

Leavey Lions registered a win in their final game of Fall 2016 by defeating Trojan Tigers. Leavey Lion started their innings with Anant and Vidya. Both the openers played cautiously until Anant was run out by Sagar.  Navjot bowled the very next ball to get Vidya clean bowled. Adnan and Shashank played well to bring Leavey lion’s inning back to stable when Adnan was clean bowled by Swapneel. Leavey lion was recovering from Adnan’s wicket that Leavey lions suffered 2 back to back wickets taking Shashank and Sneh. Ankit Kept his nerves and played till the end to play a wonderful innings of 54 runs in 26 balls. Leavey lions scored 152 runs in 16 and Trojan Tigers needed 153 runs in 16.2 overs to win the match.

Leavey Lion bowlers got a really good hold on the match from the beginning as they got both the openers early in the match with the help of wonderful bowling by Shiva and Anant. Trojan tigers started to build their innings with the help of Prabjot and Gaurav but wonderful fielding by Prayut(Sub)  led to fall of Prabjot’s wicket. Trojan tigers couldn’t come out of this blow as good bowling by Ankit and Vidya kept them under control. By the end of 16.2 overs, Trojan tigers scored 113 runs and lost the match by 39runs.

Man of the match goes to Ankit Sultania for his wonderful Half-century and special thanks to Prayut and Faraz for their wonderful fielding.
